Designed by Spyderco co-founder and Blade Magazine Hall of Fame member Sal Glesser, the Bodacious draws inspiration from the legendary American bucking bull it’s named after, built to be powerful, dependable, and ready for demanding use. 

At the center is a 3.63” leaf-shaped CPM SPY27 blade with a full-flat grind and satin finish. Developed exclusively for Spyderco, SPY27 is a proprietary steel that incorporates cobalt along with vanadium, molybdenum, niobium, and nitrogen to deliver an outstanding balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The full-flat grind enhances slicing performance while maintaining excellent overall durability.

The Bodacious features Spyderco’s trusted Compression Lock, providing secure lockup, smooth one-handed operation, and excellent reliability under hard use. The handle is fitted with smooth cobalt blue G10 scales over nested skeletonized stainless steel liners, creating a lightweight yet incredibly strong build with excellent ergonomics and grip.
